Job summary

HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Nursing Assistant/Patient Care Assistant to support patient care in the Medical/Surgical department. The role is 16 hours per week with PM shifts and every other weekend required.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of CNA/PCT experience or 6 months plus certification, with BLS required within 30 days of hire. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred, and CNA/PCT certification in-state is required for most applicants.

Qualifications

  • 1 year nursing assistant or Patient Care Assistant experience; or 6 months nursing assistant or Patient Care Assistant experience and certification as indicated below.
  • Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) in the state of practice is required with 6 months experience. BLS within 30 days upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing assistant support to patients in Medical/Surgical department.
  • Scheduled 16 hours per week on PM shift; every other weekend required.
  • Maintain patient safety and comply with BLS and certification requirements.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $25.20 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) in the state of practice is required with 6 months experience as noted above. Certification is not required for those with greater than one year experience. BLS (Basic Life Support) is required within 30 days upon hire.
