Scripps Health's Encinitas campus is seeking a Patient Care Assistant for a full-time role on 12-hour day shifts (6:30am–7:00pm) at Scripps Memorial Encinitas Medical Acute 1 North. You will help patients with daily living activities, monitor vitals, and support the clinical care team.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated, team-oriented, and committed to providing compassionate patient care in a busy telemetry unit that handles a wide range of medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent patient service as a key member of the clinical care team.
• Assisting patients with activities of daily living, taking vital signs, and performing EKGs as needed.
• Supporting patient care under clinician direction.
• Handling unit logistics, clerical duties, equipment, and charge reconciliation.
