Job summary

Scripps Clinic in San Diego is seeking a Care Team Assistant for a full-time, 8-hour DAY shift at Carmel Valley. You will collaborate with care team members to ensure safe patient care, support clerical and logistics tasks, and assist with patient care under clinician direction.

The role requires English fluency, strong interpersonal skills, and BLS certification. Prior healthcare exposure is a plus. Benefits are provided with this position.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read and follow instruction in English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care provider.

Responsibilities

• Work in collaboration with other care team members to assure safe and optimal patient care.
• Support the unit with a variety of clerical, patient logistic, equipment/supply, charge reconciliation, and patient service duties.
• Assist with patient care within the scope permitted and under the direction of a clinician.
• Assist patients with personal needs and activities of daily living, collects data, and maintains a safe, organized environment.
