Job summary

Scripps Health in San Diego is hiring a Casual Care Team Assistant for an 8-hour DAY shift at Scripps Clinic – Carmel Valley. This role supports the clinical team and helps deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.

You will assist patients with personal needs, gather essential data, maintain a safe environment, and handle unit logistics, supplies, and clerical tasks under supervision.

Qualifications

• Required: Must be able to speak, read and follow instruction in English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care provider.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to patients as a key member of the clinical care team.
• Assist patients with personal needs and activities of daily living, collect data, and ensure the patient has a safe, organized environment.
• Assist with patient care within the scope permitted and under the direction of a clinician.
• Support the unit with a variety of patient logistic, clerical, equipment/supply, and charge reconciliation duties.
