Job summary

Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall is seeking a Patient Care Assistant in Newburgh, NY to provide basic nursing care under RN supervision. Evening shifts, 3 PM to 11 PM, 7.5 hours per day in the Float Pool.

Qualifications include High School diploma or equivalent, one year of Nursing Assistant experience or current certification, ability to read/write English, completion of a Nurse Aide Program; CNA certification preferred; Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training may be required.

Qualifications

• One year of Nursing Assistant experience in healthcare or verifiable home care setting, or current Nursing Assistant Certification.
• Successful completion of a Nurse Aide Program.
