Job summary

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred; experience not required.
Licenses: Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred; CMA/NCLEX or CNA certifications preferred.
Experience: 0-1 year in patient care/elder care preferred.
Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Strong patient/customer service skills.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
Proficient with electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
Take patients’ temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
Complete documentation in the medical record as required.
Interact with patients and their families effectively.
Help patients with basic hygiene tasks and mobility.
Report patient concerns to nurses.
