South Texas Health System is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide safe, patient-centered care under the direction of registered nurses on the assigned unit. You will participate as an active member of the Nursing Team and support a culture of Service Excellence across all patient groups.

Preferred candidates have acute care experience and hold CNA or MA certificates (or are enrolled in LVN/ADN/BSN programs) with BLS current at hire.

Qualifikationen

• Prefer experience in an acute care setting.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
• Must possess CNA certificate and/or a certificate of completion of a CNA program and/or PCT certificate
• Medical Assistant certificate and/or a certificate of a MA program
• Current enrollment in an LVN, ADN or BSN accredited school of nursing with successful completion of first semester
• BLS upon hire and remain current thereafter
• Must be > 18 years of age by the date of hire
