Job summary

This position is hourly and based on the MedSurg 4th Floor (FMC), with 8 scheduled hours per week. Completion of an accredited nurse assisting program and one year of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nurse assisting program.
• One year of patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing team with patient care activities and safety.
• Help patients with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
• Change bed linens and transport patients to tests and procedures.
• Serve and collect food trays and provide between-meal nourishment.
• Record temperature or vital signs under nurse direction.
