Job summary

MusC Health in Florence, SC seeks a PRN patient care assistant to support the nursing team with daily patient care and essential services. You will assist with personal hygiene, dressing, mobility, meal delivery, and transportation to tests under supervision, ensuring comfort and safety.

Completion of the first semester of an accredited ADN/BSN program is required or you must be currently enrolled. This is a part-time, on-site role on MedSurg 5th Floor with an hourly pay structure.

Qualifications

• Completion of first semester of an accredited ADN or BSN program.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited ADN or BSN program.
• Assists nursing team with a variety of patient care activities.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with personal hygiene, dressing, and walking.
• Changes bed linens and aids patient transportation to tests and procedures.
• May serve and collect food trays and provide between-meal nourishment.
• May record temperature or vital signs under nurse direction.
