Qualifications

• Education, training, and experience include a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Experience: 1–2 years in hospital or surgery center setting.

Responsibilities

• Assists nursing personnel in all areas of the GI Unit as directed by RN.
• Assists in admission by helping patients dress and taking vital signs.
• Assists in discharge by helping patients dress and escorting to transportation.
• Cleans stretchers and patient contact items; handles light housekeeping per policy.
