Qualifications

• Providing routine and special patient care as part of the care team.
• Knowledge of infection control and safety precautions in hospital settings.
• Ability to document and communicate patient information using EHR or paper systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, equipment and supplies for procedures and provide manual assistance as required.
• Obtain and record patient data for medical records and inform RN/LPN of information collected.
• Administer basic care including feeding, bathing, transferring, turning and mobility assistance.
• Take and record vital signs, I&O, and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with admission, discharge, and transportation of patients.
• Maintain unit cleanliness and stock supplies as needed.
