Job summary

Laboratory Sciences of Arizona is hiring a Customer Service Representative to support patients and providers with billing inquiries in a daytime, onsite schedule. You will handle 45-55 inbound calls daily, determine call reasons, and document in the claim system while ensuring accuracy and timely responses.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in customer service with healthcare billing exposure; bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED with 2+ years of customer service experience.
• Spanish/English bilingualism is a plus and healthcare insurance experience is valued.
• Experience in medical billing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle 45-55 inbound calls per day from patients and providers.
• Determine call nature and document reasons in the claim system.
• Research, resolve, and respond to billing issues accurately and promptly.
• Support Reimbursement in posting zero payment explanations of payments from insurers.
• Monitor accounts to facilitate prompt payment and prevent transfers to outside collection.
• Assist with EOB adjustments, bad debt recovery, and cash payment mailing.
