Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years experience in physician billing.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS and LCD/NCD coding including ensuring compliance to guidelines.
• Experience reviewing EOBs/RA and handling appeals.

Aufgaben

• Process revenue cycle tasks for professional billing.
• Ensure pre-bill edits are cleared and required signatures obtained.
• Respond to inquiries from patients and insurance companies regarding charges.
• Follow up on denied claims and appeals, including full/partial denials.
• Submit write-off requests for denied claims when necessary.
• Document detailed notes of payer communications and action items.
