Job summary

Geode Health is a rapidly growing provider of outpatient mental health services. The Patient Account Representative will resolve inbound patient billing inquiries in a multi-channel Contact Center environment, reporting to the Patient Accounts Team Lead.

Expected Pay Range: $20 - 22/hour with a focus on accurate resolutions, confidentiality, and flexible scheduling. This role supports in-person and virtual patient visits within the United States.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years in a healthcare environment
• Ability to read and understand insurance EOBs
• Must possess strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to multi-task while maintaining the highest-level of quality in every patient interaction
• High School diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Monitor multi-channel inbound patient billing inquiries to ensure timely response and accurate resolutions
• Work with patients and insurance carriers to resolve patient billing inquiries
• Maintain individual and departmental goals including Average Handle Time, Service Level, Abandonment Rate, Call Quality
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality in all interactions
• Demonstrate flexibility to meet the needs of internal and external customers
