Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Per Diem patient access teammate in Greeley, CO to handle registration, scheduling, and insurance verification. You’ll assist patients with check-in, collect payments, and provide financial guidance within Banner MD Anderson Greeley.

The role requires strong customer service, data entry, and communication skills, with hours 7:00 - 4:00, Monday through Friday, in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in patient financial services preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and register patients and insurance information.
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain pre-certifications or authorizations as needed.
• Explain financial policies and help patients understand payment options.
• Enter payments and charges, reconcile daily activity, and balance cash drawer.
• Schedule follow-up visits and communicate with care team to ensure timely care.
