Job summary

Tactile Medical is seeking a Financial Services Representative to be the initial contact for patient billing and financial inquiries. You will collect payments, set up and modify plans, and respond to account questions while upholding HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.

The role requires strong communication, critical thinking, and a proactive approach to ensure a positive patient experience. Prior billing experience and multi-tasking across systems are assets.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ year of customer service/call center experience preferred.
• Experience with medical billing, coding, insurance, authorization, and collections is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound phone calls and assist patients with resolution of past due balances.
• Address patient inquiries about insurance claim status, balances, and resolution options.
• Collect patient payment information, set up and modify payment plans.
• Initiate outbound calls for breached payment plans due to expired information.
• Explain eligibility for the Patient Assistance Consideration (PAC).
• Maintain accurate patient billing information across systems.
