Banner Health Loveland, CO is seeking a Registration and Financial Counselor to greet patients, collect insurance details, verify coverage, and explain financial policies. The role requires accuracy in data entry and a courteous approach to patient interactions.

Responsibilities include scheduling, posting payments, daily cash reconciliation, and coordinating with care teams to ensure smooth patient flow. The position follows a 7:00–4:00, Monday–Friday schedule at Banner MD Anderson Loveland.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
• Knowledge of patient financial services, financial/collecting services, or insurance industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Registers/check-ins patients and collects necessary information, including signatures and forms.
• Verifies insurance eligibility, pre-certifications, referrals and authorizations as needed.
• Explains financial policies and available resources; collects patient liability.
• Posts payments and performs daily reconciliation; balances cash drawer and prepares deposits.
• Schedules appointments and procedures; confirms next-day visits and ensures patient readiness.
• Communicates with patients and internal teams to resolve concerns and assist with records requests.
• Assists with patient services such as escorting, vitals, and distributing mail/faxes; supports busy clinic operations.
