Responsibilities

• Register patients and check-in/out; collect demographics and signatures.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain pre-certifications/authorizations as needed.
• Calculate and collect patient liability; explain financial policies and payment options.
• Enter payments and reconcile daily cash, balance drawer, and deposits.
• Schedule appointments and ensure patients are prepared for visits.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist patients with records requests as required.
• Assist in handling patient records in compliance with policies and laws.
