Clear Behavioral Health is seeking a Patient Payment Coordinator in Torrance to identify and collect patient balances. You will review EOBs, coordinate with the RCM team, and work with front desk staff to ensure timely collection, while maintaining accurate accounting and communications with patients.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years in healthcare billing or patient collections.
• Familiarity with EOBs, insurance benefits, deductibles, copayments and coinsurance.
• Experience with practice management, EHR, billing and payment-processing systems.

Responsabilités

• Identify and collect patient financial responsibility after reviewing EOBs and payer information.
• Track balances and ensure accurate reflection in billing and patient accounts.
• Coordinate payment arrangements and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Collaborate with front desk staff and RCM team to communicate balances at visits.
• Maintain documentation of collection activity and account status.
