Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years in healthcare billing or patient collections.
• Familiar with EOBs, insurance benefits, deductibles, copays.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (2+ years).
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook (2+ years).

Responsibilities

• Review EOBs and verify patient financial responsibility.
• Track and collect patient balances per policy.
• Coordinate with front desk and clinic staff on collections.
• Maintain documentation of collection activity and outcomes.
• Escalate discrepancies to billing team when needed.
