Clear Behavioral Health in Torrance, CA is seeking a dedicated billing specialist to support patient accounts in a fully on-site role. You will manage payments, respond to inquiries from patients and insurers, and track outstanding balances to ensure timely reimbursements.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for collecting, posting, and managing account payments for patient
• Answering questions from patients, clerical staff and insurance companies
• Compiling and tracking outstanding balances owed to our providers
• Answering patient questions regarding their healthcare plans
• Review, research and resolve unpaid claims while working in an A/R module or reviewing aging reports
• Attend and participate in staff meetings as required.
• Accurately document all billing activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for collecting, posting, and managing account payments for patient

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical coding or billing.
• Experience with billing, insurance collecting, patient collections with commercial health insurance payors.

Pay

• $25-$27 per hour.

Schedule

• The schedule is Monday through Friday fully on-site in Torrance.
