Job summary

Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana (RHI) is seeking a Patient Financial Services Associate to join the Revenue Management team. This full-time role supports claim review, billing, posting, denials management and collections, in a patient-centered environment.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, on-site at the Indianapolis campus. Candidates should have at least three years in healthcare billing, knowledge of HIPAA and medical terminology, and be comfortable working with government and

Qualifications

• Three years of healthcare billing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA requirements and medical terminology.
• Experience handling insurance verification, billing and collections from government and third-party payers is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Claim scrubbing and pre-bill claim audits.
• Process eligible insurance claims (Blue Cross, Medicaid, Medicare, commercial) with correct codes.
• Follow up on delinquent accounts and balance collections; rebill when needed.
