Qualifications

• Excellent communication and proper phone/email etiquette.
• Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Strong customer service skills for inquiries from customers, staff, and insurers.
• Identify and resolve patient billing issues and collection calls.
• Familiar with medical terminology and insurance HCPC/ICD-9 codes.

Responsibilities

• Service customer billing needs and ensure accurate accounts.
• Ensure remittance is timely and resolve payment issues.
• Follow up with payers to maintain cash flow and adjust claims as needed.
• Document activities in ERP accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with Group Team Lead on account-related issues.
