Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to practice proper phone and email etiquette.
• Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Experience identifying and resolving patient billing complaints.
• Familiar with medical terminology and insurances HCPC/ICD-9 codes.
• Documents activities in ERP system accurately and timely.

Responsibilities

• Service customer accounts and assure timely remittance.
• Follow-up with payers to facilitate uninterrupted cash flow.
• Answer questions from customers, clerical staff, and insurance companies.
• Edit and resubmit claims for payment as needed.
• Prepare and review clean claims for submission to insurances.
