Qualifications

• Understanding of insurance terminology, medical terminology, and medical insurance plans.
• Ability to complete financial clearance and coordinate with Mercy payment processes.
• Experience with securing authorizations and insurance referrals.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate all components related to insurance and benefit analysis prior to service delivery.
• Review patient appointments, obtain information on out-of-pocket responsibility, and secure authorizations.
• Perform insurance management and coordinate with insurers to ensure timely reimbursement.
• Mentor fellow Patient Benefit team members.
