Job summary

OneVeracity in Kennesaw, GA is seeking a Patient Assistance Associate to help manage daily duties within the specialty patient assistance program under the direction of the PAP Manager. You will facilitate communications among patients, brokers, HR, and the team to complete the patient assistance process.

Responsibilities include collaborating with pharmacy and benefits teams to reduce pharmaceutical costs while maintaining quality, maintaining accurate reporting databases, and relaying program

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in pharmacy, healthcare, insurance, customer service, patient/member support, or related field.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and follow-ups.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with patients/members, healthcare providers, pharmacies, and manufacturer programs.
• Experience working with confidential health information.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document and maintain patient/member information.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities

• Participates in collaboration with the pharmacy team and the benefits organization to reduce pharmaceutical cost while maintaining high quality, service, and safety through patient assistance programs.
• Maintains organized/accurate database reporting regarding Patient Assistance and Medication Assistance Programs.
• Relays communication regarding program requirements and timelines with pharmacy team members, plans and plan members.
• Develops and maintains internal relationships with benefits, pharmacy, accounting, marketing, and legal; external relationships with PBMs and vendors as needed.
• Participates in ongoing training, education, and communication required for Pharmaceutical Patient Assistance Programs.
• Assists superiors with additional assigned projects.
