Job summary

Kindred Hospital Denver and ARU is seeking a dedicated admissions coordinator to assess patients for admission, educate families about benefits, and coordinate timely admissions with referral sources. The role requires strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills within a hospital setting.

The incumbent will handle physician-to-physician coordination, maintain patient confidentiality, and support ongoing education while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Collect, organize, evaluate and communicate pertinent clinical information with effective verbal and written skills.
• Strong customer service skills and commitment to service excellence.
• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Must have good and regular attendance.
• Travel varies by region.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients for admission in accordance with company standards.
• Educate patients and families about the benefits of Kindred Hospital.
• Assist with hospital tours for families and referral sources.
• Facilitate timely admission from referrals and coordinate communications between physicians.
