Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments across multiple departments and tests.
• Align appointments with provider availability and clinical urgency.
• Enter patient data into the EMR accurately.
• Coordinate with physicians and nurses to fit priorities.
• Pre-register patients and provide test prep instructions.
• Verify medical necessity for Medicare tests and payer compliance.
• Refer uninsured patients to financial assistance as needed.
• Review CPT/ICD codes and obtain clinical details from physicians.
• Obtain prior authorization and log orders in tracking systems.
• Perform other duties; maintain reliable attendance.
• Comply with policies and standards.
