Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting including patient registration, medical office scheduling, or front desk/admissions required.
• 0-2 years of experience in a customer service role required.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients and families to address questions and provide timely, courteous assistance.
• Regulates schedules based on procedure requirements, physician availability, and staffing needs.
• Pre-registers scheduled patients by obtaining accurate demographic information.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and secures necessary authorizations and verifications for services.
• Collects and records patient financial responsibility estimates as applicable.
• Maintains and organizes patient records and prepares charts for upcoming procedures.
