Job summary

Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire seeks a Performance Improvement Coordinator to support hospital‑wide quality and performance initiatives. The role includes chart audits, data reporting, and tracking tool maintenance, while also serving as the Patient Advocate for patients and families.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package within UHS and its 300+ subsidiaries.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years’ experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Office and Excel spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Support hospital-wide quality and performance improvement initiatives.
• Conduct chart audits and participate in program fidelity committees.
• Manage data collection and reporting and maintain tracking tools.
• Provide operational and administrative support to ensure program effectiveness and compliance.
• Serve as the hospital’s Patient Advocate to address concerns from patients and families.
