New Mexico Behavioral Healthcare LLC in Albuquerque, NM seeks a compassionate Patient Advocate to bridge patients with the healthcare system and ensure access to needed resources and care.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and advocacy efforts
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Quality and Risk Management

Requirements:

• Experience in behavioral health, social services, case management, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of mental health and substance use treatment systems
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
• Empathetic, patient-centered approach with a commitment to advocacy
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus in the Albuquerque community
