Azkrmc in Kingman, Arizona seeks a Patient Relations Specialist to lead the patient grievance process and ensure investigations and resolutions meet CMS, DNV and state health services standards. You will support clinics, maintain workflows, and advocate for patient rights and privacy.

Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills are required, with 3–5 years in patient advocacy or healthcare. A Certificate of Patient Advocacy within 2 years is preferred.

• 3-5 years experience in Patient Advocacy, Patient Relations, or Healthcare.
• Strong communication skills and conflict resolution abilities.
• Certificate of Patient Advocacy within 2 years.
• Familiarity with CMS, DNV and Arizona Health Services patient rights regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the patient grievance and complaint process, ensuring logs, investigations and resolutions.
• Support outpatient clinics with complaints, grievances and Advanced Directives as applicable.
• Develop and maintain standardized workflows for grievance handling and reporting.
• Act as a resource for patients and families to voice concerns.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to resolve concerns in real time.
• Advocate for patient rights, dignity, privacy and informed decision making.
• Oversee grievance tracking database and maintain documentation.
• Ensure timely investigations and responses and share trend insights with leadership.
• Distribute reports and dashboards on grievance trends to Quality and Patient Safety Council.
• Explain patient rights and facility policies to patients and families.
