KPC GLOBAL MEDICAL CENTERS INC. is seeking an Admitting Representative in Santa Ana, CA. You will register patients, interview guarantors, explain hospital policies and responsibilities, and document data into the ADT system with a focus on accurate demographics and billing.

This role serves diverse age groups and reports to the Admitting Manager. Candidate must have strong English skills, high school completion, and excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; professional appearance and attitude.
• Computer experience in Windows environment.
• Ability to multi-task, work independently and be team oriented.
• Medical terminology or demonstrated proficiency.
• Full command (verbal and written) of the English language.

Responsibilities

• Registers patients in a pleasant, professional and timely manner, being sensitive to guest services.
• Interviews patients/guarantors, explains hospital policies, financial responsibilities and patient bill of rights.
• Handles all routine patient inquiries related to the registration process.
• Obtains and accurately documents demographic and financial data into the ADT system.
• Identifies payor source for routing revenue generated during the patient stay.
• Reports to the Admitting Manager.
• Interacts with Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric patient groups.
