Job summary

Kansas City Orthopaedic Institute is seeking an Admissions Representative to provide an excellent patient experience in our outpatient rehab setting. This full-time role runs from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, with a weekend rotation, at an hourly rate of $20.90.

You will greet and register patients, perform pre-registration, scheduling, insurance verifications, copay collection, and admissions paperwork while ensuring smooth admissions and a caring environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience or exposure to medical environments is preferred.
• Proficient computer skills and office software knowledge are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Opening and closing duties.
• Greeting and registering patients.
• Pre-registration and scheduling appointments.
• Insurance verifications.
• Collecting and posting copays and deductibles.
• Tracking visits and authorizations.
• Preparing admissions paperwork.
