• Verify and collect patient demographics, billing, and insurance information.
• Distribute and explain forms and educational materials to patients or caregivers.
• Coordinate with physicians, nursing units, and departments to facilitate admissions.
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations when required.
• Collect co-pays and provide referrals for financial counseling as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and actions taken.
• Participate in call rotations to cover admissions desk as scheduled.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times.
• Keep workspace clean and sanitized; assist with additional admin duties as assigned.
