Job summary

Emplify Health by Bellin is hiring a Patient Admissions Representative at Psych Center in Green Bay, WI to register patients accurately and ensure payor requirements are met. The role handles calls, communicates with patients, physicians, and staff, and supports a Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:00pm schedule with no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and post-secondary classes in medical insurance, medical terminology, and health care business preferred.
• Hospital or clinic admitting experience or completion of health business program, computer/keyboard skills, medical terminology, health insurance processing, excellent customer service and decision-making skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the timely, complete, and accurate registration process of patients while meeting payor requirements.
• Manages telephone calls and appropriately communicates information with patients, physicians, and/or staff.
