We are hiring for multiple openings of Patient Admission Coordinator positions in the Patient Access Department at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK!

Currently available schedules:

Full time, 1.0 FTE, Variable shift, 5am - 1:30pm AKT, 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications:

• One (1) year experience in customer service or healthcare registration.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training - Some college level course work preferred particularly Medical Terminology or Medical Assistant coursework.
• Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) or Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS) upon hire
• Previous registrar and third party payor experience.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
