Responsibilities

  • Manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, and relay messages to clinical staff.
  • Ensure patient verifications and authorizations are completed before appointments.
  • Collaborate with providers to align on scheduling preferences and urgent patient needs.
  • Provide comprehensive patient support using reference documents and tools.
  • Perform administrative tasks including maintaining databases and processing forms.
  • Use EMR systems and telephone systems efficiently in daily duties.
  • Meet or exceed organizational and departmental service standards.
  • Address non-clinical inquiries and escalate complex issues as needed.
  • Handle distribution of faxes, mail, and clinic documentation.

What You’ll Do

  • Offer comprehensive patient support by utilizing reference documents and tools.
  • Execute various administrative tasks, including maintaining databases and processing internal forms.
  • Leverage telephone systems and electronic medical records systems efficiently to perform daily duties.
  • Consistently meet or exceed organizational and departmental service standards.
  • Address non-clinical inquiries and messages, escalating complex issues as appropriate.
  • Handle the distribution of faxes, mail, and clinic-specific documentation and filing.
Required Skills & Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of computer systems and relevant software applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, appropriate for a professional setting.
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service, solve problems, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Familiarity with Windows-based office software, computers, and operating systems.
