Conifer Health Solutions, LLC. in Oregon is seeking a Patient Account Representative to manage the lifecycle of patient accounts from creation through payment.

You will follow up on claim submissions, review remittance data, and pursue disputed balances with both government and commercial payors to resolve accounts in a timely fashion. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of the revenue cycle, can work independently or with a team, uses payer portals and hospital systems, and maintains

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• 1-4 years medical claims or hospital collections experience.
• Minimum typing 45 wpm.

Responsabilidades

• Research accounts using patient accounting applications and online resources.
• Follow up on uncollected balances with payors or patients via phone, email, or portal.
• Review contracts for billing issues and request re-bills or corrected bills as needed.
• Escalate payment delays to supervisor and document actions taken.
