Sherman Oaks Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare, is hiring a Biller responsible for billing insurance and follow-up to ensure timely payments. The role requires knowledge of CPT/HCPCS, strong communication, and accuracy in coding and patient accounts.

Competenze

• Knowledge of multiple insurance billing requirements and 1-2 years of billing experience.
• Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and Revenue Code structures.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize needs to meet required timelines.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High School Graduate or GED Equivalent Required.

Mansioni

• Bill all insurance, workers’ compensation, HMO/PPO carriers; audit accounts and correct coding errors.
• Perform follow-up on insurance balances, communicate with clients and staff, and write appeals to insurance companies.
