Job summary

You will follow up on balances, communicate clearly with clients and staff, maintain productivity, and prepare effective appeals to insurers, all within a full-time day-shift role. Strong billing knowledge and CPT/HCPCS familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of multiple insurance billing requirements (1–2 years billing experience)
• Familiarity with CPT, HCPCS, and Revenue Code structures
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High School Graduate or GED Equivalent Required

Responsibilities

• Bill all insurance, workers’ compensation, and HMO/PPO carriers.
• Audit patient accounts to ensure correct procedure and charges; identify missing codes.
• Follow up on insurance balances to ensure timely payment; communicate with clients and staff.
• Write effective appeals to insurance companies; input follow-up notes in systems.
