Saint Francis Health System is hiring a Revenue Cycle Patient Account Representative I at the Yale Campus. The role focuses on ensuring accurate, timely resolution of patient accounts, reducing financial stress for patients, and facilitating smooth insurance claim processing.

You will use Epic, payer portals, and phone conversations to minimize delays while maintaining a compassionate, transparent approach.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in a health insurance field preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and other applicable software.
• Knowledge of healthcare and insurance terminology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Mansioni

• Verify insurance coverage and accurate patient account information.
• Process tasks and follow up on work queue items to ensure timely resolution.
• Resolve denials and underpayments through appeals and corrections.
• Communicate with patients, payers, and internal departments clearly and professionally.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and NSA requirements in all duties.
• Support teammates and participate in training and quality initiatives.
