Job Summary:

The Individual Contributor will provide excellent customer service and product information, solutions, and relevant details to patients and providers. This role emphasizes above-and-beyond communication to ensure patients feel heard, understood, valued, and connected with Apria. Key responsibilities include:

  • Turning disgruntled patients into satisfied customers.
  • Supporting field teams, operations, and sales with timely feedback.
  • Problem-solving common complaints and flagging trends for preventative measures.
  • Proactively enhancing the patient experience.
  • Championing employee engagement and company culture.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting branches across a designated market.
  • Reviewing patient accounts to gather documentation for billing insurance plans.
  • Researching and securing information to maintain coverage.
  • Managing relationships with field leadership, referrals, and patients.
  • Ensuring documentation compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Following up to ensure timely reimbursements.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in healthcare or health insurance industry.

Skills and Abilities:

Computer Skills:

Physical Demands:

This is a stationary role requiring sitting or standing, repetitive motions, speaking, listening, visual tasks, and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.

Other Information:

This role is remote and US-based, requiring residency within the United States. Company equipment use outside the US is restricted.
