Northwell Health in New York is seeking a billing assistant who supports physician practices to ensure billing activities align with department policies and achieve timely collections.

You will interface with physicians and administrators, monitor fee structures and payer reimbursements, resolve complex billing issues, guide staff, process clinical documentation requests for timely appeals, and help implement policy improvements.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience required.

• Implements improvements for financial management of each billing area.

Job Qualification

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience, required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with pre-authorization processes preferred.
• Previous medical billing experience preferred.
• Previous Cardiology or Vascular billing experience highly preferred.
