Patient Account Rep Followup | Location: Camden NJ | Duration: 6 Months

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Verify eligibility with insurance companies.
• Communicate with patients and insurance companies regarding co-pays, deductibles, denials, and Cost of Benefit (COB) issues.
• Resolve accounts timely and effectively.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• 1 year healthcare billing experience. Hospital Medicaid experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Medical billing/coding knowledge;
• Comfortable with MS Office Suite (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
• Excellent oral and written communication skills;
• Ability to successfully interact with insurance carriers, patients, and administration.
