Job summary

Chino Valley Medical Center is recruiting a Patient Account Registrar to interview patients, gather demographics, and secure insurance details for admission processing. You will coordinate with the Admitting team and PBX/reception to ensure accurate data entry and timely verifications.

The role requires strong communication skills, hospital-admissions experience preferred, and reliable multitasking to meet deadlines in a high-volume setting in Southern California.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in hospital admissions preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of medical terminology helpful.

Responsibilities

• Interview patient or representative to obtain demographics and insurance information.
• Secure insurance information, eligibility, benefits and authorizations as applicable.
• Work closely with Admitting department and PBX/reception areas.
• Input and retrieve data using computer; communicate with diverse patient populations.
• Maintain proficiency in medical terminology.
