Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Interview the patient or representative to obtain demographics.
• Secure insurance information, eligibility, benefits and authorizations as applicable.
• Work with the Admitting department including PBX/operator functions and reception areas.
• Operate a computer to input and retrieve data.
• Communicate with diverse populations using age-appropriate techniques.
• Maintain proficiency in medical terminology.
• Complete special projects within given timeframes.
