Job summary

White Oak Medical Center seeks an experienced Patient Access Lead to oversee registration, eligibility and payer requirements while supporting team coverage across Patient Access areas. The role emphasizes confidentiality and high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

You will train staff, coordinate with departments, and monitor accounts to ensure accurate information and timely processing. Evening shift, full-time with potential for growth within Adventist HealthCare.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience within a healthcare environment.
• At least 5 years experience in patient registration and/or eligibility and benefits.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and composure in stressful settings.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through all Patient Access areas and provide coverage.
• Train and monitor activities of Patient Access Representatives.
• Update patient information and process insurance requirements.
• Act as liaison with other departments and support Bed Control activities.
• Auditing accounts and denial management.
