Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily operations of the Patient Access Management Department.
  • Assist the Director in ensuring hospital compliance with regulations such as ABN, Medicare secondary payer questionnaires, Advanced Directives, Patient Bill of Rights, medical necessity, observation status, and other guidelines.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $60,411 - $75,514 USD per year. Compensation details will be discussed during the application process, considering factors such as experience, education, and location.

Qualifications
  • Associate degree required or obtained within 3 years; High School Diploma required if not.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ supervisory or lead experience in Patient Access or a related setting.
  • Knowledge of Third-Party Billing requirements, experience with Windows software, and familiarity with EPIC Cadence and Prelude are highly desirable. Experience in a union environment is preferred.
Physical and Work Environment

This role requires flexibility in schedule, including travel to other sites, and may involve exposure to adverse conditions. Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, and lifting up to 10 lbs. Effective communication and tact are essential, with potential irregular hours including evenings and weekends.
