Description:

We’re seeking a Patient Access Supervisor for our East Commons and Gatehouse locations. The role involves managing teams responsible for essential non-clinical operations such as communications, data entry, filing, bookkeeping, scheduling, payee reimbursement, insurance registration, and daily service coordination.

The ideal candidate will have clerical/administrative experience, uphold confidentiality, verify insurances, multitask effectively, and work well within a team-based environment.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm

Responsibilities and Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent with 5 years of healthcare record-keeping experience, including 4 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to manage schedules across multiple providers and sites accurately.
• Ensure staff adhere to Pittsburgh Mercy policies and procedures.
• Manage clerical workflow and ensure adequate site coverage.
• Maintain open communication with providers and administrative staff for process improvements.
• Knowledge of managed care criteria and insurance processes.
• Ability to obtain criminal, child abuse, and FBI clearances.
